The summer heat, the lively outdoor bars, and the holiday mood make it perfect to spend free time with friends and a craft beer. In Krakow’s pubs, multitaps, and restaurants, there’s a never-ending array of options to choose from. I am convinced you’ll notice a surge in places serving craft beers. There’s no surprise here: homemade, artisan beverages are attracting locals and tourists alike with their unique flavors and scents.
The secret lies in the experience. Craft beers introduce a new drinking culture and quality into mainstream that’s unmatched by mass-produced drinks. Recently, craft drinks have not only become fashionable but also gathered many genuine connoisseurs for whom the ambiance of a place is just as crucial as the drink itself.
Let me say, even the best drink enjoyed in a home garden won’t replace the experience of visiting a place where you can deepen your knowledge about alcohols, taste freely, and explore the world of drinks from an artisan perspective.
We’ve put together a small compilation of some Krakow gems, where you will find not just artisan beers and stronger alcohols, but also feel a unique atmosphere that has little in common with the crowded pubs of today. These are excellent options for anyone who wants to try a craft drink in premium quality!

How to Find Best Place to Stay in Krakow Old Town – Your Guide
Weźże Krafta – Dolnych Młynów Street
I believe this multitap is well-known to many Krakow beer fans. Located in the Tytano complex on Dolnych Młynów, it is not just tempting with its superb central location, but above all, with the largest selection of craft beers in Krakow.
In this atmospheric pub, we’ll find 25 taps, constantly pouring the highest quality craft beverages. What’s more, the venue is also well-stocked with unique bottled beers, produced by both Polish and foreign craft breweries. Those who are just beginning their craft journey can take advantage of the tasting menu offer.
Professional staff will advise us on the best drink selection and guide us into the beer world. The interior will captivate with its industrial design and an atmosphere far from the typical beer parlors with a noisy TV in the background. „Weźże Krafta” is the perfect place for a social gathering, where not just a beer connoisseur will find themselves, but also someone who wants to learn more about the craft culture accompanied by the highest quality alcoho;l.
Miejscówka – Józefińska Street 4
The craft revolution has also taken over the other bank of the Vistula. At „Miejscówka„, you’re not only charmed by its location in Old Podgórze, near Bernatka footbridge, but above all, by its outstanding menu and 12 taps pouring craft beer. Importantly, this place has become a partner venue for Browar Trzech Kumpli from Tarnów, which is one of the best craft breweries in the country.
„Miejscówka” also has legendary sandwiches that draw many local foodies to Podgórze. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only drink excellent beer but also satisfy your hunger with an equally good sandwich from the menu, you must visit here.
Although there are many more craft places on the Krakow map, these four deserve special mention. One thing is certain: artisanal alcohols have not only become a trend but also a drinking philosophy full of rituals, flavors, and interesting facts behind the barrel scenes. It is worth to say during this summer, choose a proven multitap and get drawn into the world of craft experiences!
Craft Beer Stores in Kraków
Beer shops keep growing in number. In the past few weeks alone, two interesting ones opened: literally five minutes from my home, Rewia Piwa sprouted up, while Regionalne Alkohole emerged in Kazimierz. The latter shop offers a Piwosz Card – for 14 purchased beers, you’ll receive a special one – brewed with dedication for the shop – for free. What a fantastic idea.
