It’s located in Podhale, surrounded by the beautiful Tatra Mountains, and it’s the most intimate thermal bath complex for families with small children.
The Healing Thermal Waters of Szaflary
Termy Szaflary has four swimming pools, filled with highly mineralized thermal water that covers a total area of 970 m². The water has a constant temperature of 36-38ºC and is packed with minerals like calcium, iron, sulfur, sodium, magnesium, and potassium. I am convinced that these minerals have a truly beneficial effect on your body, such as improvin metabolism, balancing hormones, reducing stress, and so much more.
There are two indoor pools and two outdoor ones, all filled with exciting features like hydromassage stations, geysers, and even a 3-lane family slide. For the little ones, there’s a paddling pool with a small slide, ensuring they have a blast too.

You might be wondering what to pack for a day at the thermal baths. It’s actually quite similar to preparing for a visit to a regular swimming pool or water park. First, I suggest getting familiar with the facility’s rules to understand any specific requirements, such as bathing caps or attire.
Here’s a short list of essential items you should bring with you:
- Swimsuit: Choose something comfortable and suited for the pool, not necessarily just for the beach.
- Towel: A quick-drying towel is a great choice.
- Pool slippers: Keep your feet protected and comfortable while walking around.
- Bathrobe: This will come in handy when you want to use the SPA zone or move between the swimming pool complex and the wellness area.
- Basic bath cosmetics: Bring products you’ll need before and after using the thermal pools.
